MANAGER – MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING & PLANT MAINTENANCE for a Greenfield Project into Manufacturing of Electrical Machines

Job title – Manager- Manufacturing Engineering

Principle responsible responsibilities - Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance of plant.

Reporting to – Plant Head

Department / Function – Manufacturing Engineering

Location - Hyderabad

Qualifications required – B.E. (Mech.)
Additional qualification preferable – M. Tech.
Experience – 12 – 15 Yrs. (with 3 yrs. In managerial position.
Age – 30-40 yrs.
Languages known (Essential) – English & Hindi
Languages known (Desirable) - Telugu & German


Key Responsible Areas -
1. Decide, establish and validate the processes for manufacturing of rotating electrical machines.
2. Decide and prepare capital equipments' specification for above processes.
3. Identify vendors for above and facilitate procurement of above.
4. Prepare and finalise plant and site layout for a new production facility.
5. Design and facilitate procurement of jigs, fixtures and tooling.
6. Establish systems and ensure preventive and autonomous maintenance of the plant and machinery.

Essential knowledge required -
1. Knowledge of latest manufacturing processes relevant to rotating electrical machines.
2. Knowledge of plant and equipments needed in each process.
3. Ability to prepare detailed specification for the same.
4. Knowledge and networking with vendor base for capital equipments as above.
5. Ability to design Jigs, Fixtures and Tooling for above.
6. Ability to design plant and site layout.
7. Knowledge of Material Handling Equipments.
8. Knowledge on Quality systems ISO 9001:2008 and SAP R/3.
9. Knowledge on LEAN manufacturing(SPF, SMED, Poka-yoke, VSM, JIT, Cell working etc.)
10. Working knowledge of Auto-Cad.
11. Six Sigma (At least Green Belt).

Desirable knowledge –
1. Knowledge and experience on Total Productive Maintenance.

Key Responsible Areas -
1. Implement and establish quality management systems in the plant.
2. Prepare Quality Assurance Plan for incoming materials, manufacturing processes and final product to meet customer satisfaction.
3. Identify & develop vendors to conform to above plan.
4. To improve continually the process quality to reduce / eliminate process rework and rejections.
5. To establish systems for testing of final product and ensure zero defect quality.
6. To resolve customer complaints efficiently and effectively.

Leading Infrastructure developement company requires Traffic Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities of Traffic Analyst 

The incumbent is responsible for accurately estimating the base traffic and recommending future traffic growth projections for the project, which would be used in the bid model. The incumbent is also responsible for identifying possible revenue threats/risks and estimating the impact of the same on the project cash flows
  • Review the results of the traffic studies and analyse data like volume counts, OD surveys, etc to determine traffic characteristics and arrive at bid assumptions
  • Review regularly the traffic data from toll plazas in the area around and influencing the project to arrive at growth estimates for the project
  • Monitor macro socio-economic factors and their relationships with traffic growth to provide realistic estimates of traffic
  • Maintain all traffic related data in a structured manner, ensuring timely collection and compilation of the same
  • Develop project-specific strategies for growth assumptions based on the analysis of information/data
  • Review the traffic data of existing projects in order to check validity of assumptions during the bidding stage of the projects and document new learning’s
  • Interacting with Consultants to validate data and also on various assumptions so as arrive at independent decisions

Qualification & Experience 

PG in Transportation Engineering / PG in Urban Planning with B.Tech in Civil Engg from a Tier I institute with 5+ Years experience.
