We are hiring GM Legal & CS for a Leading client (Construction / Real Estate / Infrastructure) in Hyderabad

Job description is appended below:Key Responsibilities:
1.Work closely with SMRI organization to set up legal processes to speed up contracts for acquisition of quarry land on lease/outright sale/rental basis.
2.Coordinate with company’s central legal consultants as well local lawyers to enable compliance laws as well as comprehensive documentation of the legal records, contracts, agreements, papers, etc .
3.Will be chief compliance officer of the company with respect to company law, labor law, mining & explosive laws & all other laws that pertain to the business of the company.
4.Manage the company secretarial functions of the company as well as the subsidiaries. He will be designated as “Officer” of the company under company law.
5.Manage a comprehensive process & report out for compliance & ensure that the company is up-to-date on mining related laws as well as any new laws that affect the environment.

Educational qualifications: Company Secretary & LLB/LLM with 10-12 years of experience (Age around 35 years)

Candidate should have worked in capacity of Company Secretary & Legal Manager preferably in construction/ infrastructure industry – like cement, building materials, etc. Should be conversant with land acquisition laws.

Specific skill set:
1.Good understanding of local laws on land acquisition
2.Ability to coordinate with multiple functions when following processes
3.Strictly implement controls, policies that are initiated at HO
4.Should have managed company secretarial functions of medium size company; not necessarily listed
