Location: Hyderabad
Education:UG - Any Graduate - Any Specialization , PG - Any
Exp : 5 to 7 Years of work experience required
Job Description:
•Ensure development of all procurement related policies & procedures
•Effectively manage the procurement budgets
•Maintain & increase purchase efficiency by reducing cost & timely supply of materials
•Pro-actively gain the knowledge of latest products and technology available in the market with their competitive prices in related business area to bring in 'Competitive Advantage' to the organization
•Review & improve process and systems to ensure smooth, effective & efficient operations
•Monitor & Lead various initiatives like quality improvement / measurement, automation etc.
•Ensure smooth coordination with Project, Commercial and Warehouse departments
•To maintain optimum level of stocks by regularly reviewing stocks in warehouse
•Planning & Scheduling for Export Shipments. Complete Pre & Post Documentations for Export Shipments. Also to get Custom Clearance of Export shipments.
•Create database of vendors / contractors required for business interest
•Selection & registration of appropriate vendors & contractors
•Negotiate and finalize terms & conditions for all vendor contracts related to all purchases & services
•Negotiate payment terms, defect liability period, warranty / guarantee with vendors
•Resolve disputes with vendors amicably
•Decisions on debit or rejection to be imposed for substandard work or damaged supply
•Ensure that the department is well managed as per laid standards & norms
•Reporting to senior management by publishing daily / weekly / monthly MIS.
Desired Profile:
•Should have experience in procurements
•Should have exposure to purchase material from foreign vendors, import procedure etc.
•Negotiation, commercial acumen with statutory requirements
•Should have worked at middle management level
•Should have command over commercial terms & conditions
•Understanding of foreign purchase, import process, duties and taxes, etc.
••Detailed knowledge in Contracts, Customs laws , Warehousing , International procurement / Import duties , VAT & service taxes, product & market knowledge, experience in SAP/ERP system, Exposure to Quality Systems & Project management tools
